Frequently Asked Questions

How does the subscription work?

With the purchase of a monthly subscription you get unlimited cloud access to all of our simulation labs and our entire course catalog, which we are adding new exercises to each month. Your lab access may take up to 48 hours to activate.

You can cancel the subscription at any time.

How do I redeem a code from an academic bookstore?

Please navigate to the Academic User Portal from the top navigation bar on this page and create an account there.

Once you have created the account, verified your email address, and logged in to the Academic User Portal (at edu-fortiphyd.talentlms.com), select the courses your code is good for and enter the code at checkout.

What industrial simulations are available in the lab environment?

Our public simulations currently include:

  • Chemical reactor, featuring Modbus
  • Natural Gas Power Generation, featuring ENIP, OPC UA, MQTT
  • Server Room Cooling, featuring BACnet
  • Power distribution substation, featuring ENIP
  • Railyard intersection, featuring ENIP
  • Water treatment plant, featuring ENIP and S7
  • Ship navigation and engine cooling, ENIP

Can you create custom simulations to model our real networks and process?

Yes! While we don't model the process to the same level of accuracy as a full digital twin, we can create virtual networks and simulations that model the critical components in your facility so you can practice realistic incident response and perform critical path analysis on your ICS. Contact info@fortiphyd.com to set up a meeting and discuss your needs.

Is there an option for live remote or in-person training?

Yes! We are available to run live sessions either remotely or in person depending on trainer availability. Contact info@fortiphyd.com to set up a meeting and discuss your needs.

Can the simulations be deployed on-site in our own lab network?

Yes! We can deploy local copies of our simulations in your lab networks for you to use for practicing incident response, testing security products, or giving customer demos. Contact info@fortiphyd.com to set up a meeting and discuss your needs.
